Client: Confidential · Product: The World’s first automated intracytoplasmic sperm injection
In Vitro Fertilisation is a complex series of procedures used to help with fertility or prevent genetic problems and assist with the conception of a child.
One such procedure known as intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), typically involves manual injection of the sperm into the oocyte. This is highly operator dependent and has success rates as low as 30% – 40%. Perdigó took a leading role in the invention and development of the World’s first automated ICSI, which has since been clinically validated.
